Upon completion of this course you will have a firm understanding of a no fault divorce and the process through which a divorce is obtained. A no fault divorce is where both parties agree that the divorce in not the fault of one of its members, but mutual. Marital property is anything that has value that was obtained during the course of the marriage, and must be divided up in a divorce. Child support ends either at the age of 18 or 21 depending on the circumstances provided. Prenuptial agreements decide what will happen with the assets of the couple in the event of a divorce.
